Both myself and Fiona Rutherford will be teaching at the Glasgow Branch of the Clarsach Society on Sunday 14th December. The meeting takes place in Partick Burgh Halls from 1.00 – 4.00. Come along to learn some new tunes and get the chance to meet lots of friendly harpers!

I am delighted to have been accepted as the new clarsach tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland teaching at the Junior Conservatoire classes on Saturdays. As well as teaching the clarsach I will be leading a Performance Class and a Groupwork Class. I can’t wait to get started!

Had a lovely time playing alongside Grant McFarlane, Marianne Fraser and Hayley Keenan at a reception for the Heads of State.

I have really enjoyed living in the host city for the games and the atmosphere everywhere has been amazing.

I was delighted to be asked to perform at the Glasgow 2014 athlete’s village during the Commonwealth Games. I played in the village green to some of the athletes and guests and the weather couldn’t have been better. I even got to have a wee look around the village, it was very impressive!

I had a fantastic week teaching at the Junior Feis in the beautiful Ullapool during the easter holidays. The children were all very talented and a pleasure to work with leading up to the great concert at the end of the week. Ullapool is absolutely stunning, hopefully I will get the opportunity to return and explore more sometime soon.
