Jessica Burton: Wedding Harpist in Glasgow, ScotlandThe clarsach is a perfect accompaniment to your special day, creating a unique romantic atmosphere. It’s portable nature lends itself to a variety of different venues, including those with limited space. Jessica has extensive experience playing at weddings and other events, having entertained the likes of HRH the Prince of Wales, the Scotland’s First Minister, Alex Salmond and The Old Firm.

Music can be played at various moments during your wedding including:

The Ceremony

  • Seating of Guests
  • Entrance of the Bride
  • Hymns
  • Signing of the Register
  • The Bride and Grooms departure
  • Exit of Guests

The Drinks Reception

  • Up to an hour and a half of background harp music as the photographs are taken, creating a relaxing ambience for guests

The Wedding Breakfast

  • Elegant harp music can be the perfect accompaniment to your meal

Jessica treats each wedding individually, advising on suitable music choices from her extensive repertoire list, which includes traditional Scottish music, pop music, and light classical music. She will do her utmost to learn any requests that you have.

Jessica also regularly performs at weddings as one half of the Orcadia Duo, which includes a violinist.
